Dr. Salaz is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College, is Nationally Board Certified, and is licensed by the State of Oregon.
In addition to his practice, he also serves as an Associate Faculty member of the University of Western States in the Chiropractic Preceptorship program, providing field practice training to Chiropractic Interns during the final year of their Doctorate education.
With years of extensive experience treating many types of injuries and conditions, he brings the skills and knowledge needed to make a significant difference in the health of his patients. He is highly trained in biomechanical analysis, orthopedic and neurological assessment, x-ray analysis and interpretation, nutrition, exercise rehab, and a broad range of physiotherapy modalities.
Dr. Salaz opened Mt. Hood Chiropractic in 1995, and he has built the practice on a foundation of genuine care for the people that seek his help with their health. He bases his treatment on years of experience, his knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, and the physics of the structure and function of the human body. His treatment plans are focused on quick recovery from injury and improving function.
